Preschool Program

For children 2.5 to 5 years old

Our Preschool Program, designed specifically for children ages 2.5 to 5, is rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning through hands-on, child-led exploration. We believe that children are natural learners, and our program provides a nurturing environment where they can express themselves, make discoveries, and develop essential early skills through meaningful experiences.

We believe the environment plays a crucial role in learning, carefully designing our indoor and outdoor spaces to inspire open-ended play, exploration, and collaboration. In our Preschool Program, art is more than just an activity—it’s a language. Children are encouraged to express themselves through painting, sculpting, and mixed-media projects, using natural and recycled materials to bring their ideas to life. Our garden provides a living laboratory where little ones can plant seeds, care for growing plants, and observe the wonders of nature, helping them understand the world around them in a tangible way and deepening their connection to nature. Our music and movement sessions incorporate playful rhythms, storytelling, and dance, helping to develop coordination, self-expression, and social interaction. Farm experiences allow children to engage with animals in a gentle and respectful manner, instilling a sense of responsibility and connection to nature. Open-ended play is woven throughout the day, allowing children to build confidence, develop friendships, and engage in imaginative storytelling, construction, and problem-solving.

Our Preschool Program encourages young learners to ask questions, explore their interests, and develop essential early skills in a joyful and supportive setting. By fostering creativity, collaboration, and independent thinking, we help children build confidence, form meaningful connections, and develop a strong foundation for future learning—both in the classroom and beyond.

Enrichment Program for Homeschool Families

For children in TK to 2nd grade

Our “Farm Care & Nature Exploration” Enrichment Program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and thoughtfully designed for homeschool children in grades TK through 2nd. We focus on the whole development of each child, emphasizing developmentally appropriate practices and social-emotional growth. In this program, they will experience a rich, hands-on learning experience that encourages creativity, curiosity, and a deep connection to nature. Through a diverse range of engaging activities, children have the opportunity to explore various subjects in an interactive and meaningful way.

On the farm, children gain hands-on knowledge about animal care and learn how different farm animals contribute to daily life. In our art studio, they experiment with different mediums such as painting, clay sculpting, and nature-inspired art to encourage self-expression and creativity. Our gardening activities allow children to get their hands dirty as they plant seeds, learn about composting, and discover the science behind plant growth. Through creative play, students engage in imaginative storytelling, hands-on building projects, and sensory activities that strengthen problem-solving skills and social development. Music sessions introduce rhythm, melody, and movement through sing-alongs, instrument play, and storytelling with sound.

By immersing children in these interactive experiences, our program nurtures a love for learning and promotes a sense of responsibility and curiosity about the world around them.

Tuition

Casa de Luna is entirely self-supporting and depends upon tuition for its operation. Tuition is based on a four-week pay period. Each month is broken into four weeks. Tuition is due on the first day of every tuition month based on the tuition schedule.

Paid tuition secures your child’s spot at Casa De Luna; tuition pays for the child’s enrollment, not attendance. There is no make-up policy for missed days due to our limited class size and all our spots being filled. If a student is ill or on vacation, the monthly tuition must still be paid in full.

PLEASE NOTE: Because our curriculum is not designed in the traditional sense, we want to ensure that our program at Casa de Luna is the right fit for your child. By default, we offer a 2-week trial for all newly enrolled children. If during that time the staff or the parents feel that their child is not ready for our program, we offer a prorated refund for your paid tuition month.
